We are entering our third week of marathon training. The first few weeks feels like a "walk in the park" with easy and short runs during the week and longer runs on Saturdays.
Tuesdays is our speed work at the Elmhurst College track where we do 9-to 15 laps at 2m pace on the first and second lap with 1 minute rest in between, and race at the maximum capability on the third lap. After completing all 15 laps there are a half hour core work.
