Is taper time before the big day. I am happy that we are finally at the last stage training. From now until the Chicago Marathon all my training days are basically just short distance what we call "maintenace miles".
This year, my approach to this race is to run as a 'long run training', my last one until Marine Corps. So I am not really worrying about this one. Am planning on enjoying this marathon instead of really racing it. For those of you who have never run Chicago or are planning on coming to race it check out the course. It's one of the most beautiful marathon in the US in my opinion.

I hope you enjoy the race! I never run in the US, but I'm willing to find an opportunity to do it. At the moment, as you know, I'm preparing myself for my first marathon, that will take place on de 26th of October (In Oporto, Portyugal).
Now, to run 2 marathons with 2 weeks difference is very brave! I hope you can do it well.
