5 days to go for the D Day



Here we are running at the path and enjoying the "tapper" week. Since we are only 5 days for the race day this is really a easy week as far as training goes. Now is the time to get rest, eat well, get prenty of sleep,drink plenty of water, and avoid doing stupid things such as adding more miles than needed.. we all know that this is not the week to add any long run to our routine other than maybe a few miles just as maintenance. Not that I am planning on doing that. Yesterday, Monday, I went for an 3miles easy. On my way home stopped at the gym and did a half hour of core work. Today I will rest and do another couple of miles tomorrow. Than I will definitively rest until race day.

I am really hoping the that the weather will be cool on race day. It would be really great if temperatures would be in the lower 60's. Well we can only hope...
