This past Saturday was our last day of training as a group before the Chicago Marathon. It was a very cold morning at 6am. Cold but perfect for a run. Marc, I and Helen did all 12 miles effortless with an overall pace of 8:15 which is pretty fast for us. I guess that morning was just a perfect one and we were also very excited that it after that it will be just a easy week until October 12, marathon day. It was indeed a great ending to a 5 month of hard training. Afterwords, we all got together at the gazebo (our meeting point in Elmhurst) to celebrate and plan for the big day and take a group picture for our website (see picture). After that we all went to "Raimbow" Restaurant for a "delicious" and well deserved breakfast.
